Bethany First Church believes strongly in Christ's call to embrace the disenfranchised and lost with the liberating, compassionate love of God. BFC supports many ministry opportunities in our community.

Angel Tree

Angel Tree was founded by Mary Kay Beard in 1982 as a prison fellowship ministry and now serves to touch the lives of inmates' children throughout the year, with a special emphasis at Christmas time. These children receive Christmas gifts in the name of their incarcerated mother or father. Serving with Angel Tree provides an easy way to be involved in the lives of Angel Tree children and their caregivers.

After School Program

BFC’s After School Program provides a place for students to learn academic, social, and citizenship skills in a loving, safe environment. This project of the Bethany Community Foundation serves children kindergarten through 8th grade, and is completely free to the students and their families.

After School Program

Breakaway is BFC’s ministry to families with special needs children. Breakaway meets on the third Friday of each month and provides a safe, fun, and loving environment where individuals with special needs experience the love of Jesus.

There is no cost to participate, but advance registration is required. Find out more about volunteering or having your child attend Breakaway.
