Each fall and spring, BFC offers weekly classes and groups where you can learn, deepen your faith, and become more like Jesus in various dimensions of your life.  We call them “electives” because you have choices. Elective sessions focus on Bible teaching, discussion with others, and the application of God’s truth to one’s life. Typically, an elective is 8 to 10 weeks in length, depending on the type of class or group.

An “apprentice,” is someone who commits to take on the entire life of their teacher. In this three-class series, participants learn to be apprentices of Jesus Himself. Each week, members read a chapter identifying a false narrative that we may have acquired and contrast it with the true narrative of Jesus. Then we practice a “soul-training exercise” that embeds the narrative of Jesus more deeply in our lives. The reading and practices become the basis for each class’ lively discussion.
