The Bethany Foundation After School Program provides a safe, loving environment for children in the Bethany community who need care after the school day. The program is free for participating families of students Kindergarten to 8th Grade. The program runs five days per week from 3 to 6pm, during the school year. The kids have opportunities to enjoy outdoor play and indoor games, to play sports, to complete homework, and to receive tutoring, all while being supervised by two directors and many paid staff. The elementary students are transported by bus immediately after school is dismissed.

This program was begun in 2000, after a survey was conducted in the Bethany community, and an after school program was identified as a major need. Since then, local law enforcement has stated that this program has helped reduce crime in the area by giving students in the community a supervised place to go after school.
