9 & 11:15

While you are in “Big Church” we have Backyard Kids, our Early Childhood Worship Service. Once everyone arrives we go to our large group time in our worship room, where we worship together as a large group. We worship through songs, learn Bible verses, hear from God’s word during our teaching time, and usually get a visit from our puppet friends. Following our worship time we meet in our classrooms by age group for our small group time where your child participates in a learning activity to reinforce our lesson. Next, your child has an opportunity to respond to questions about our lesson, and we close with prayer time on the big rug.

During our Sunday school hour we dig a little deeper into God’s word. Your child will be in their age level classroom during Sunday school. We have teaching teams for each age level and a “center based” Sunday school experience. Your child will hear a Bible lesson then participate in a variety of center activities such as crafts, games or pretend play to reinforce the Bible concepts we are learning that day.

On the second Sunday of the month we will have hand bells during half of the Sunday school hour. Our kids love to play the hand bells and this is a great way to begin to learn the concept of leading in worship and using our gifts at church. Sometimes the kids will play for Adult Sunday School classes and even “Big Church”.

In order to help us organize our classes to ensure a great Sunday morning, we use the following guidelines when assigning kids to classes. There are signs in the hallway to direct your to your child's classroom.
