Death of a Loved One

When you lose a loved one, it is so beneficial to have the support, prayers, and love from your church family and community. If you have lost a loved one or you know someone in the church who has, please inform the Congregational Care office. If the family desires, the church body will be informed through weekly communication tools.

Crisis Counseling

Sometimes we face challenges in life, and crisis counseling is needed. Depending on the need, BFC offers multiple assistance options. Pastoral counseling, professional Christian counseling, participation in a small group, or mentoring is available. Call the Congregational Care office to find out what resources might be best for you.

Grief Recovery

Grief is a normal and natural response to loss. A grief class is offered periodically throughout the year to help those who are working to resolve their loss issues and move beyond their grief to a richer quality of life.

Hospital Stays

If you or a loved one is going to be hospitalized, please let us know. Our pastors are available to pray with you and visit you in the hospital during your stay. You and your family are not alone.

We are here to support you through the highs and lows of life. If you have a serious illness and would like prayer and pastoral support, please make us aware of your situation. We are here for you.

Marriage ER

Most marriages have times of conflict or even crisis. Some situations need immediate attention. We've established a phone number to call when your marriage is at this point, 495-0105, x231. Leave a message, and a confidential appointment will be made with a pastor who will do an assessment of the situation. Based on that assessment, the appropriate counseling or help will be suggested to you. Many times the church will assist in covering the cost of the first three visits with a professional counselor.
