Bethany First Church is involved in a number of ministries in the Oklahoma City metro area. These ministries provide ways to get serve with both time and resources.

Angel Tree

Angel Tree was founded by Mary Kay Beard in 1982, as a prison fellowship ministry and now serves to touch the lives of children of inmates—throughout the year, with a special emphasis during the Christmas season. These children receive Christmas gifts in the name of their incarcerated mother or father. Serving with Angel Tree provides an easy way to be involved in the lives of Angel Tree children and their caregivers. Many volunteers are needed each Christmas season in a variety of areas including: planning the Angel Tree party, shopping for gifts for children, serving at the Angel Tree party, or hosting a family. You can also participate by helping provide gifts for each child by making a donation.

After-School Program

The After School Program at BFC provides a place for students to learn academic, social, and citizenship skills in a loving, and safe environment. This project of the Bethany Community Foundation serves children kindergarten through 8th grade and is completely free to the students and their families. Many opportunities to serve in the After School Program are available.
